Lastly, Graves has to feel pretty dumb not to recruit Goodman. I think she takes it personal. Very proud of that young lady. Can’t believe she is a sophomore!

From my vantage point it didn't look like there was any contact by Goodman on SI, ergo my sarcasm. Pivec's foot was also not on the line on that baseline drive. You can clearly see the edge of the line beside and not under the curve of Pivecs shoe.

Goodman didn't even touch the Princess on that foul, flew right by her. And she still flopped. And then after taking that last three, took a step forward into KM and flopped again. It's ridiculous.
All in all, a good job by the refs of not buying her BS tonight on several other plays. She gets those calls in Eugene. She and Corzola will leave uo never winning in Corvallis.

If Pivec were to have put her heel down it would have been out of bounds but she clearly did not do that. I guess the ref thought she put the heel down.

Great teams can sometimes overcome creepy officiating. This is a perfect example of that.
Northwest girls are 8 for 8 from the charity stripe to lock down the win.
Aleah comes up big.....again!

Very very poor end of game... they should have never had a possession after the fouls. Shut up baseballllls. We won. Of course, you and only you could find fault in that. And only you can figure out the difference between finding fault in a W and a poorly executed last 9.4 seconds. Of course not immediately fouling the first catch and subsequently fouling a 3 point shooter is the way to go! And, of course if you foul that first pass with the clock at about 7.4 sec, you can then repeat that and have the clock at or under 6 sec with only 4 team fouls. You then can repeat that and have the clock at or under 5 sec to have them shoot 2 free throws and gain possession. OSU ball, up at least 2 with under 5 sec. Oregon has to foul, prob under 4 sec... OSU up 4, Oregon out of time outs and you can lightly pressure and let themm shoot as clock expires. NEVER a chance to tie. Luckily the turnover happens. But with 3 fouls to give and under 10 sec on the clock you use them on the first receiver before a shooter gets into position. Then again until the turnover we again allowed an easy layin to have the lead sliced again. Win or no win, it was a very sloppy way to finish... But, then again you typically cherry pick posts to make some inane, unintelligent comment. Funny how folks accusing others of being negative are they themselves the culprit and lack the knowledge to what was actually being pointed out. And, you by far are the leader in the clubhouse as many many of your posts about "posters" vs game or functional details. Those that aren't are typically trivial dribble... But, at least you are consistent.

The play by play announcer said that Gill was like a barn and it was awesome! Give that guy a perk! When Gill is rocking it’s hard to imagine a better venue in college basketball. Maybe they’re out there but Gill is pretty good! Even if it’s a “sheep barn”, lol.

In the final 9.4 seconds, we were 6-for-6 from the line, forced a TO on an outstanding defensive play by Goodman that caught SI completely off-guard, and forced a missed shot that instead was called a phantom foul.
That hardly sounds like a poorly-executed final 9.4 seconds.
The one thing we could have done better is foul SI before she got her 3-pointer off. But UO ran a nice play to free her up; AG was late getting through the screen. Sometimes the other team makes a nice play, especially when they are the No.2-ranked team in the country, and it was reward by the phantom foul, as AG clearly did not touch SI as she ran by in an attempt to make a play.
Even up two, as you suggest by giving them two opportunities from the line with a 5th foul, we still have to get the ball in-bounds, with no time outs. And you're counting on someone to make two free throws for the four-point advantage, no sure thing.
Or, uo probably makes the first shot and intentionally misses the second. With Sabaly out there, there's no guarantee we'd even get the rebound.
