Played Stanford down to the wire in a very exciting game in front of 400 or so friends, family and Stanford fans on their home court.
I don’t think usc WBB will ever draw a crowd.

That just can’t be fun. Way too much talent for the lack of support. We’ll see if their stellar 2019 class can change things.
Speaking of feeling bad for teams? How about them Utes. They blew an 18-point 4th quarter lead vs. ASU and were held scoreless for the final 8:09 while Arizona St. went on a 20-0 run. They are now riding a 7-game losing streak. Boy the Oregon trip/visit ain’t an easy one. That win for Utah would have helped us a bit - pushing ASU back.

I was rooting for USC to beat Stanford in order to push them back. No go.
I was cheering for Utah to beat Arizona State in order to push them back. Nope.
I was hoping for Cal to beat UCLA to set them further behind. Notta.
Arghhhhhhhhh! All 3 games close but all 3 go the wrong way. 0 for 3. Yuck.

The next couple weeks will be interesting. UCLA has to make the trip to play the ducks and Beavs, but should win their final two at home. Arizona State makes the trip to play at Cal and Stanford, and then are home against the Beavs and ducks. Brutal schedule for ASU, and two wins would be a strong finish. Three wins would be a great finish. (Arizona State's game at Washington was cancelled because of the recent snow storm)
For the Beavs, win or lose against the ducks, they then have a short week to prepare for UCLA and USC, two teams that are both hot right now, and then they finish on the road at Arizona St and Arizona on the road. The Beavs have the inside track at 3rd place, but with this schedule, it won't be easy.
