Honestly it was closer than I thought it would be. We have a good shot in the return game, but they are going to have to play their best. Go Beavs!

6 for 21 from beyond the arc. Marginally better from beyond the arc and they could have won. That old saying "live by the three and die by the three" resonates.

Missing threes and the fact the schmucks only had three turnovers didn't help the situation. Need to cause more turnovers.

1. Erin Boley was severely overrated coming out of HS. Not a bad player by any means, but nowhere near a top-5 player IMO. 2. Mik? She was ice cold in a loss to Stanford and now in this loss to UO. We need more from her to win big games. It’s that simple. 6 points in 2-8 FG from our best player in our twi biggest games of the year won’t cut it. She was playing at such a high level. Need her to return there.
3. I thought Jo played well tonight. Shed had 12 points on an efficient 6-7 and 5 rebs. Yes, Hebard had 21, but she shot far below her % average, almost 20% below. Jo’s defense is much improved, she has come a long way. Jo’s development makes me so excited about Trish’s future as well as those of Mitrovic, Jones, and Brown! 4. Taya’s 5 assists was a beight spot for her, but I still think we can get more out of her in terms of scoring. She is very versatile, but hasn’t been putting up the numbers we need. I've always wondered about her recruiting ranking. Seemed awfully high. But with that said she's a HUGE upgrade to the ducks compared to that 3pt only shooter they had last year. Mik is just getting some big blows go her way and not a lot of other help.

Mik plays so hard and gets a lot of rebounds and 50/50 balls. We need more scoring from her. I wish she could get over the habit of dribbling into her defender and then getting tied up, or mishandling the ball. If she would just stop short of her defender and pop it from there, I think she would up her output. JMHO.
Overall, I was pleased with the effort. Limit the ducks' rebounds and 2nd chance points, cause more than 3 turnovers and we will be in business. Go Beavs.

Despite what many doubters have been saying on this board, I think this game clearly shows that if the Beav's play their game they will beat the Ducks. If they shot their season average in 3's they tie the game, and if they hold the Ducks to their season average in 3's they win the game. There are several more stats along those lines but the point is that they don't need to have a heroic game to win. Just play solid Beaver ball and they got it.
Mik went through a mid season slump her first two seasons, I hope that this one is about to be over with.
Katie had a solid game, but she still had open shots she didn't take.
For those commentators and posters saying how much better Jo played. No, she didn't. She just was able to play more minutes, but otherwise it was the same 'ol Jo with the good and bad that implies.
I'm worried that Taya's shoulder problems have returned. She doesn't seem to be her usual smiley self, her shots are short and she isn't rebounding like she had been. I really hope I'm wrong for her and the teams sake.
Destiny actually seemed a bit tentative.
Aleah, 4 to's and one assist isn't great, but really a pretty solid game.
Again, I think if the Beav's play a solid game they win in Gill. We will see 😁

Yeah, the Beavs were oh so close on the road in a hostile environment against the number 3 team. Just 1 or 2 less turnovers by OSU that led to Duck points, just 1 or 2 more defensive rebounds by OSU that would have prevented 1 or 2 second chance buckets, and finally just 1 or 2 more 3 point baskets that go in for the Beavs instead of barely rattling out AND OREGON STATE GETS THE WIN. So, in total, it was a thin margin and these were the 3 areas that cost OSU the game IMO.

So many non-believers from the beginning of the year. I said we would be toe to toe with the ducks. The team is good. People here make it sound like we have no talent on the team.

How often will the ucks only have 3 TO’s in a game? I only got to watch the 2nd half. My frustration was in the multiple shot clock violations. I know we were slowing the game down. There were multiple times Mik or KTM could have taken an open J and passed early in a possession that we aound up running out of time or throwing up a prayer. Now for payback on Monday.

This game only grew our confidence. Rueck now has a versatile substitution pattern in the post with Maddie, Jo, and Trish. Maddie only played 4 minutes, but, Maddie will get more PT against smaller, quicker post players. Jo and Trish played great, and, both are now making contributions. I really like Rueck's substitutions. Gill is going to be rocking Monday, and Beavs have legitimate opportunity to win this game. GO BEAVS!

We can absolutely win on Monday if we control Sabally (SI's gonna do what she's gonna do). We need to defend #0's three's and box her out. Ducks played great perimeter defense in the second half and we hesitated as a result or else we might have had a different result.

The greatest team in their school history beat our rebuilding, injury-saddled team by eight points and needed to shoot 50% from 3 and have only three TOs to do it. Change around three possessions and we can beat them Monday night.
I didn't expect to win there, but now I'm way more encouraged we can win here.

ESPN has article on website with headline Oregon Looks Like Final Four Team in Win over Oregon State. Guess that means Lady Beavs look like an Elite Eight team.
