Nothing I dislike more at a sporting event than a long and drawn-out anthem. Love the pep band's version at basketball or the band's version at FB. Short, quick, to the point.

I'm just thankful I missed that 2 minute 56 second Bluegrass tribute to Jimi Hendrix. Dodged a bullet there.

It's not a dirge or a slow dance. It actually comes from an old drinking song, so I think it should always be sung that way—three sheets to the wind.

I timed it at 2:01. Along with the freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, we got treated to a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaave and a closing braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaave.
