Baseball America now has Cesar Valero-Sanchez ranked number 123 on the Top-200 (combined prep/college) MLB Draft prospect ranking. If the draft held true to form which it won't, that could project as early as a 5th round selection.
Cesar has worked hard to showcase his game in the U.S. and Canada. A high ceiling kid that has been steadily climbing up the rankings for the last year. His close relationship with Alomar and the Blue Jay organization concerns me. Toronto might spend an early round pick on him - they love home grown players.
Other familiar names in the latest ranking. Rutschman at #1 of course and Kenyon Yovan at #47.

LOL, no he wasn't. He wasn't eligible after reclassifying to the 2020 class. He will spend one more year at the Foothills Composite Secondary school and enter OSU in the fall of 2020. He has signed an LOI with OSU with the 2019 class but he isn't coming this fall.
This was mentioned in several posts following our SID's announcement.

It was an item mentioned in an OSU bulletin back in April or May as I can best recall. It was posted on baseball "news" on the official site. I would dig it out for you but I can't remember what the title of the post and the main subject was. All those bulletins are archived on the OSUBeavers.com website.
By reclassifying to complete Canada's 5-year secondary education program, he delayed his enrollment at OSU by one year. It also removed him from the 2019 MLB Draft. Maybe that has changed again, I don't know.

He’s on the just released Fall Roster. Any idea of what that means? By that I mean, does it indicate there’s a reasonable chance he’ll be in a Beaver uniform, come Feb. 2020?

He's here. Saw him at the Dugout Club Golf Tournament today. Along with another recruit from Nova Scotia. Great families.

Baseball news on the official site first mentioned it. I simply passed it on.
