UW looks to be the class of the conference, and unfortunately that isn't say in a whole lot. Before this weekend, they were projected as (barely) a single-digit seed. Only ASU seen as getting in, as a play-in bubble team. UW is the highest NET-rated team left on the schedule, and they made the ratings look correct. This is the team that traded punches with the Zags to the final buzzer their house back when they were #1. I believe they will make a bit of noise in the tournament.
Unfortunately for the Beavs now, this means realistic goals are to finish in the upper-half of the conference, which should mean NIT.

They've lost 4 games -- 3 of them to ranked teams. Surprised they lost to Minnesota. Their problem is they haven't beaten anyone outside the Pac 12. They're an experienced team -- lots of seniors -- so I could see them winning a game maybe two in tourney

In a normal year, Washington is at least a 6-seed, and Arizona State is a shoo-in to make the field. Look at CBS' bracket, Washington is a 7-seed and Arizona State is an easy 10. The NET treats Oregon State well but really hammers the rest of the conference.

This one was going to be the toughest game of the year and the team didn't rise up. Still say this team has chances to make noise and even win the Pac-12, because of how WEAK every other team is. However, it's not going to happen if they play like this one. One big factor is that KK's level has dramatically dipped. Maybe it's from the other team scouting, or maybe the pressure got too big once we hit 3-0. Also I did it was going to get tougher after that 3-0 start. All 3 teams were rock bottom and messy at that time. Yes, a men's YMCA league could have beaten that Oregon team we played. They were very very easy wins as we caught all teams at a great time. Which is why I wasn't too excited about that start. Still no doubt, the rest of the teams are still as weak as it has EVER been. So it would be a great time for our team to actually take advantage of this, because for once everyone is healthy, experienced, and we have a P12 POY candidate in the roster.

Shortest presser yet. ST wants to get better at defense. WT liked teams fight. Just couldn’t get a couple stops on defense. Someone shot TTs dog.

I found amusement by running my cursor along the time bar at the bottom of the video. WT lots of hand waving up and down, flanked by 2 guys who pop their heads up then hang them back down every so often. Fun! I must have missed the fight part. I remember a lot of getting out-hustled and taken to school though.

I am not concerned about Kelley's performance; he is getting more involved in the offense and the game seems to be slowing down a bit for him. He is coming from such a dramatically different experience level than most juniors in D-1 basketball, that his development curve is incredible, even when he gets schooled by perhaps the best center in the conference on how to draw fouls. His health is still improving, he's got an off season to work on weights and technique. The thing that fascinates me is that he's got some things that with more development, will make him a force at the next level - you can't teach instinct and you can't teach wingspan, and you can't teach hops. I am really looking forward to his senior year!

Hmmm. Looks as if Washington might be pretty good.

Hmmm. Looks as if Washington might be pretty good. He got a lot of playing time in the preseason scrimmage and I thought right then he'd be a good player next year and quite possibly a monster by years 3/4. I liked his positioning underneath in a crowd, with and without the ball. I think he'll be real fun to watch in 2 years, not that he isn't now.

Hmmm. Looks as if Washington might be pretty good. Yeah, that was the feeling I was getting as they destroyed the Beavs. For all the PAC-12 bashing, Washington is a legit team....by far the best team in conference, and it's not close.

Duh, that's what I get for reading the last post in a thread without paying attention to context. Washington, the team, might be better than some here think.

Hmmm. Looks as if Washington might be pretty good. I think he is overrated. Remember the entire population of the colonies were about the population of what Oregon is today. Think about the State’s legislature today That is similar in size to the pool of leaders from which Washington emerged.

If you're serious, you seriously need to brush up on your history from about 1776 until his death.

I've compared enough autobiographies and biographies to know that "heroes" from any time period are generally overrated. But I love that he did not lie about cutting down the cherry tree. That was awesome.
