He has covered the best WR for the opponent all season and done well. Today, he is usually going up against Hilt on most of the time and just dominating. Andrew Luck has had a ton of time, but nobody is open. Great job so far, Steven Nelson.

I'll never forget the pick, that bailed us out of a loss @ San Diego St, in 2013. |

Nelson did give up a couple receptions just before half, but he was playing well off the line to prevent the deep ball. When he has been pressing, Colt WR is not getting open. Impressive for a little guy against some good, big guys as well.

My favorite memory of that game was riding up in the hotel elevator with a couple SD fans who were very nicely commiserating with the Beaver loss. Seems as if they left at the end of the 3rd quarter. Their response to what Beaver loss was priceless. |
