Steve Gress suggested (pre-game) that it was very possibly season-ending.

Not only can Kay stretch the D, but she has really worked on her all-around game and truly contributes in many ways. I asked her after the game if there was good news. She gracious said that it wasn’t looking good. Sad.

I believe it is too late to redshirt as well. Wouldn’t mind Kat’s services hanging out in Corvallis an extra season! Hope Jazz steps up.

That's a killer for the Beavs...Not only is Kat the best 3 point shooter on the team, she has the quickest release and she is the most fearless..She will take, and make, 3s that no one else can handle.
If she truly is gone for the season it will place enormous pressure on Destiny to increase her minutes, and deliver more scoring. The same goes for Mik.... The Beavs have no post offence to speak of, they just don't score in the paint, so Kat's absence makes a tough set of circumstances even tougher....
I really cannot see the Beavs recovering from the loss of Kat Tudor.....Hope I'm wrong.... GO BEAVS !!

Hope Jazz steps up. 3 pt proficiency is the single most role that the Beavs WBB can MOST afford a setback due to injury. With Slocumn, Corosdale, McWilliams, Pivec, Goodman and (still unknown) Simmons - this portion of the offense should hold up well. Still it's a blow to lose a player of Tudor's stature. She's an ultimate gamer.

I believe it is too late to redshirt as well. Wouldn’t mind Kat’s services hanging out in Corvallis an extra season! Hope Jazz steps up. NCAA Medical Hardship Requirements
To be eligible for a medical hardship waiver, a student-athlete has to meet the following criteria: •The student-athlete must suffer the injury during one of their four seasons of college competition or during the senior year of high school. •The injury must be incapacitating. That means it must be a season-ending injury. •The injury must occur prior to the start of the second half of the season. •The student-athlete must not have competed in more than 30% of the season or three contests, whichever is greater.
KT has participated in more than 30% of the season, so she is not eligible.

There are always exceptions made, especially if the player still has not graduated. OSU will try for a fifth year if she wants it to.
