Not to be a Debbie Downer, but this one won't be pretty. If we are lucky, and have Dhesi, we could book end these guys.
Michigan is the type of team we'd like to be. 7-8 guys ranked and always a threat to win. Consistently in the top 4 of the best wrestling conference. Have 1 or 2 guys a threat to make the National finals, then 3 possibly 4 others make the medal stand, then it will be euphoric times for the program again.

Well it can't be worse than last year right? no RB or AD, 48-0 if I remember correctly and nothing remotely competitive other than Willits lost a close one. I guess I'm Debbie Downer as well because last few seasons remind me of 80's Beaver football when I'd go to check out the other team's future NFL guys coming into town. My oldest wants to see Micic and Pantaleo in particular, in a few weeks it will be Valencia. Last year it was Bryce Meredith. sigh. |

I like to watch Micic. He's good. Joey Palmer had to go up against he to try to make AA his Sr. year, and it didn't happen.
Another sign will be the rest of Michigan's road trip. They take on Sparky on Saturday, same weekend. See how the scores compare.

Just looked at our past 3 years vs Michigan, we haven't scored more than 10!
This might be pretty brutal.
Also, it looks like Griego's name is off the roster. That doesn't help.

IIRC last year was a clinic on top position/leg riding. Expect no different tonight. Guess I’m not too surprised about Griego. Had been told multiple times he was kicked off the team this past summer and came back on a short leash. No idea if it’s true, just relaying what I’ve been told. |
