Destiny out of control. Making plays that have little risk reward.
Scream now Destiny lovers. Aleah is the most solid PG. No flash and dash... solid in every phase. Completely under control, no forced passes or drives. Huge overall improvement in her game.
The other question I have for those who question Jo's abilities. Have you been to games in person?
PM is no more mobile. Has no better handle or hands. Is lost running the offense. Jo is the ONLY viable option to go big.

Two very high caliber players. Destiny does need to play with more discipline for sure.

Super talented/deep in an area but lacking in another key area. Just never had all the pieces. If just one of the frosh bigs panned out and could pair with Jo for an inside threat this team would be very complete. Maddy has improved, just no size.

Wow Mikayla can take contact on a drive and score. Has done it a couple of times already today. That strength is going to be needed in conference play.

Nice Freshman to Freshman connection as Jasmine drives and dishes to Patricia at the hoop for 2 + 1.
Then a few seconds later the pair misses connecting for a turnover.
But it was nice to see Patricia gaining poise out there in 8 min of PT.
16 for 16 from the line is nice too.

I caught the second half of the game. About as expected I guess. I’m sort of old school (curmudgeon) so I’m no big fan of an offense heavily dependent on the 3 ball. But, these gals can make them most games, I have to give them that. Pivec is just solid and can do a bit of everything offensively. She had really nice game. I thought Morris had some good minutes in the 4th quarter and showed a good handle on those paint passes, plus a soft touch on her made baskets.

A lot more attacking the hoop from everyone. I liked how KtMac in particular was driving the lane. Pivec is just a gamer, period. This team is already fun to watch. The addition of Destiny has opened up so many options to Rueck. The way this team plays such team ball takes a bunch of talent and makes it special.
Jo Grymek is starting to look like a different player. She takes this team to another level when she is on the floor.

I think Aleah fits the old version OSU basketball. But Destiny can do things that no one else on the team can do. Now if she can just finish those amazing drives and get the ball to drop....
The only real problem I see with the team is defense. I think, because of all the people going in and out, that they don't have a great rhythm to their switching.

The best today was when OSU played in their zone defense. It was very good, even when Rueck substituted. Patricia Morris, even with the fouling, did a very nice job in the zone defense today. Our guards are big, long, and quick on the perimeter. Jasmine is going to get more minutes because she can flat out defend for a freshman.
