Big one from Midlands was #2 Sebastian Rivera dominating #1 Spencer Lee, 7-3 in the 125 final. Rivera was in complete control the entire way. Bresser took Rivera into OT at CKLV earlier this year, losing 6-4 in a great match.

Bresser has a great shot at the title this year. I saw him against Rivera. These matches are mostly tactical chess games. Depending on how the coaches prepare each wrestler, any of the three can win it. Rivera's coach had a great game plan for him against Lee and Rivera executed it.

Rivera-Lee could see each other 2 more times this season. Dual meet and B1G tournament. Be interesting to see how things work out. Ronnie just needs to keep working and wrestle the guy in front of him and not worry about the other stuff. Michigan will bring in a ranked 125 on Thursday.
