You know the guy that would have led us to the Rose Bowl had he stayed but got benched this year for a freshman They mentioned in the pre-game that Kemp was injured early in the season. Purdy was upset he wasn't handed the job so worked his tail off for two weeks and then earned it. His record is 7-1. No mention of his OSU connection. Purdy just got intercepted after a WSU fumble.
