It has been been confirmed that it was Class of 2022 6'3" Raegan Beers who attended both games and made an unofficial visit to spend time with the team this past weekend.
Beers is a country-strong athlete who was physically dominant as a freshman in the state of Colorado. She appears to play for an adidas AAU team. There has to be mutual interest in OSU for the student-athlete and her father to have paid for their stay in Corvallis.
Beers has played in the USA national 3x3 qualifying pool events as one of the younger players to compete. Scored 33 points in one game as a HS frosh. Beers averaged 18.9 points and 12.2 boards as a freshman while earning her conference's Player of the Year honor.
A potential recruit with Deven Hunter-like size and strength along with the ability to score consistently from 15' feet in according to videos and articles from her early high school career.

Thanks beaverhoopsfan! I saw some comments regarding her on twitter a few weeks ago, but didn't know at the time that the Beavs were interested. The reviews were very positive.
I consider it a good sign that they stayed in town for both games, and as you say, on their own dime. Appreciate the news. I have great admiration for the way this staff recruits.

DeSoto is one of the best HS teams in the country. Left this in 2022 because they have a ton of 2022 talent, including three 2022 players who are 6'4", 6'4", and 6'5" as well as a very talented PG in Michayla Gatewood. Three of them play for Team Lex, the same organization Taylor and Kennedy played for.

A few Prospects Nation write-ups on some 2022 potential players as they release their watchlist:
Timea Gardiner, 6-3 F, Utah
- Gardiner is a matchup problem with her size for the interior and ball skill to play away from the basket. Comparison can run anywhere from Kayla Pedersen to Napheesa Collier, which is good company to be in.
Lauren Betts, 6-7 P, Colorado
- Betts is a rare athlete that has incredible size and length yet isn’t limited by it athletically as most 6-7 players are. She’s a major impact defensively and rebounding and her offensive production is ahead of where Imani Stafford was at the same age.
Kennedy Basham, 6-7 P, Arizona
- Basham jumps out at you in warmups. Kids her height, with her length, aren't supposed to move the way she does. Her ability to rim run, hit fallaway jumpers and be very disruptive defensively are all things that are easily projectable in college.
Raegan Beers, 6-3 P, Colorado
- Beers was one of the 2019 calendar year's biggest risers. Few posts in her class have shown the strenght, touch and competitiveness. Her frame translates to the college game now. In three years of developing her game, the upside is major.
OSU appears to be in one a lot of really good bigs in 2022.

Somehow, the world of recruiting is more soothing and more comforting to me than it has been in the past....An island of sport escape in a stormy sea....
With world problems being what they are, collegiate sports have a refreshing, harmless fascination to my otherwise weary mind...
Hopefully, when one or two of these premiere athletes arrive at Oregon State to join the WBB program, coronavirus, pandemic, tumbling economic markets, self-isolation and so much more will be ancient history, mere footnotes on a weary past.....

Mack Konig, a 5-9 G, was on campus in January: Right in UW's back yard, which recent history has shown means the Huskies have no chance of getting her. Well, they did get JaQuaya Miller! Jayda Noble was across the state in Spokane IIRC, but she was a great addition too. Maybe that'll change by 2022. Drea Brumfield may also end up being a top-recruit, and she's not too far away from UW. The State of Washington had some really good talent in 2020 though. |

She's a good one. She'll have plenty of choices. She probably will end up in the Pac-12, but I'd rather see here somewhere else if not a Beav.
