Last night for the second time this season she outran an opponent on a long outlet pass to steal the ball and reverse their fast break opportunity. Fun to watch.
And call me nuts but with her exceptional “springs” I’d love to see Scott put her out there for the opening center jump some game this season. I would bet she has the biggest vertical on the team.
She’s not as tiny as she sometimes appears on TV. At 5’-7” she’s in the 84th percentile for US women (for general perspective purposes - I know it doesn’t mean that much on a basketball court).

Tiny...maybe not - but last season during an 8 minute after game meet-and-greet I talked to her one-on-one, up close - and she seemed pretty darn short to me. Of course, she didn't demonstrate her 'springs' in that setting!

Destiny made some incredible plays last night. She showed a few moves I haven't seen her, or anyone on this team make before. Unfortunately, she had a few incredible plays that ended with missed lay ups, or making a bad pass. She's already fun to watch, but give her some time to gain more experience and finish those plays and she will be near impossible to stop.

Everyone saw Kat Tudor's 4-point play. But go back and watch the overhead pass (on the money) made by Destiny from the backcourt no less. Not only did Destiny have the vision to find Kat, but the strength Destiny possesses to make that pass was incredible.

The team knows what she can do.
