#8 Stanford @ Gonzaga - Gonzaga upset Stanford 79-73. The led by as much as 17 in the 3Q before Stanford pulled within 3 in the 4Q. Kiana Williams led with 18. She vs. Slocum will make for a very exciting PG matchup.
Indiana @ UCLA - UCLA dropped another one, 67-65, and are now 3-5 on the season. Very back and forth 4Q, and an exciting ending as UCLA was down 66-64 with 5 seconds. Japreece Dean missed a layup, but it was rebounded by Kennedy Burke who was fouled and made 1 of 2 from the line, but Lajahna Drummer got the rebound but turned if over. Chances galore for UCLA.
Colorado @ #21 Miami - Colorado dropped their first contest of the season, 73-58. Interested to see where the finish in the Pac-12.
George Mason @ Washington - UW beat a bad George Mason team 81-52 behind a 20 point effort from Amber Melgoza. They are 5-3 on the season and will still likely find themselves at the bottom of the Pac(k)-12.
Arizona @ San Diego State - U of A won 69-60 against SDSU (the current school of former OSU player Taylor Kalmer, sitting out due to transfer rules). Aarion McDonald continues to get her points as she scored 29.

Zags won it on some clutch FT shooting and a dagger 3 in the last 2 minutes.... They damn near blew their 17 point lead.... I'll have to check the box score, but I think some key players for Stanford did not play. Zags only loss of the season thus far is to ND in 1st round of the Vancouver Showcase.... GO BEAVS
UConn thumped the Irish at South Bend....

Not a good day for the Beavers ranked opponents....UCONN led most of way and beat down ND at ND. I was a bit surprised, but UCONN's players out-rebounded, out-hustled and out-scored the Irish.
South Carolina looked bad against Baylor at home and trailed by as many as 30 before losing.
I imagine OSU'S RPI might drop a few spots.

A loss to South Carolina would have look really bad for us. I also think we beat ND if we have a better post. We’re right there, just gotta get over the hump. Baylor scares me.

Except that "hump" is not going to be gotten over any time soon. Aquino will come in as a rookie (practice vs the posts we have isn't D1 experience). Morris is a ways off. And, next year's class isn't ready to lead the way. OSU's inside game at the level we're talking is 2 years away. We're much closer to SCar than we are Baylor. Very much perimeter oriented. The "timing" seems out of kilter... great guards no inside presence. Recruits are bigs, guards will mostly gone when they gain experience. We need a couple elite wings/guards in 2020 or a grad transfer (or 2) in 2019 and 2020.
