Boy down here in Southern Oregon the outlook would be no baseball what so ever this weekend. Does it look like any games will get played this weekend.

I'm seeing what ftd is seeking. Friday is showers/rain (60% chance). Sat & Sun 90% chance of rain and cold. Glad I'm not going. Too cold/too wet.

We have an all-weather field now. It would take a monsoon to cancel games. Friday looks better, maybe even dry. Regardless, I'll be there and I expect Beaver Nation will be too. You gotta be tough to be a spring baseball fan in the PNW.

Ah, The Stick. What a great place to build a ballpark. My grandfather hated the Giants. He was a Dodgers fan. I remember him cussing about Juan Marichal (who's now a young 78), and some guy named Mays.

Orange and Black, baby!!

I remember him cussing about Juan Marichal (who's now a young 78), and some guy named Mays. I always loved the quote, " The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer at the Stick." Dave, I'm sure your gramps probably disliked McCovey too, as I was a Dodgers fan also as a kid. I'll never forget Vin Scully one day describing McCovey's stature at the plate; "He's so big you could set a table for six on his back." Can't wait for tomorrow night! Drew's first Friday night start at home. The house'll be rockin'! The weather doesn't look too nice, but they'll get the games in. It was sure nice not needing rain gear in Surprise. I just hope the weather is even colder and nastier next weekend for the debils!
