Brutal opening to next season for SC. Doubt there's another first 6 game schedule even remotely as difficult.
@ Fresno State
Stanford
@ BYU
Utah (Friday short week)
@ UW
BYE
@ N.D.

Playing Fresno State in Fresno is always brutal. What's the over/under for killings at the game? It looks like USC will do in 2019 what UCLA did in 2018 with that schedule. Once and if the QB and wideouts dial in, USC will become Mad Bomber U. Until then they will be the ones getting blown up.

NW'ern who's responsible for all five losses because of a Big 10 title appearance game lost their best offensive player to injury earlier this season, wasn't supposed to be very good to begin with, but they play hard, never quit and just kept finding ways to win conference games until they became division champions.
That's the lone "cupcake" on your schedule. lol

Fresno may not be nearly as good with without their OSU unworthy quarterback who is graduating this year

I worry that, at some point, USC is going to put together another Carroll-Chow combination and then rip off like seven straight Pac-12 Championships. Why is that a worry for us? We are so far away from sniffing one on those.

We are so far away from sniffing one on those. Oregon State was within seven points of USC with less than 12 minutes to play this year. If you give USC an offense, I am thinking that the nip and tuck Oregon State-USC games morph into something more like those 63-0 games in the 1980s.
