I would make and NCAA rule that all non-conference games must be home and homes. Alabama wants to throttle San Jose St in Tuscaloosa? Cool. Next year they return to San Jose.

Well, that should effectively kill off programs that need the revenue from those games to survive. Plus, there are still 2 10 team conferences, the Big 12 (makes sense Judge!) and the Sun Belt, and 8 defeats the purpose of the whole exercise.

Oh, by the way, I failed to mention that in my dictatorial NCAA fantasy, I would make at least 2 OOC games for every team random. Eight conference games, 4 OOC games, two of them randomly determined, and all four OOC games are home and home series. And an 8 team, if not 16 team, playoff. Limit conference sizes to 12 members. Limit Division I to six conferences. There is room for discussion on these points, I don't mean to be completely Stalinesque. Maybe more like a Napolean or Alexander.

You should include an Ooc selection show with a big spinning wheel to determine opponents. It would probably be almost as successful as Caddyshack 2.
