Surprised to not see Tres make the all-freshman team Look at the list, to be honest I love Tres, but those are very very good players (attitudes of some not withstanding!)... not a travesty there... he got 3 votes and WT can't vote for him.

Pretty tough sell when he didn't even start until 1/3 through the conference season. He was Honorable Mention on the list, along with Boatwright and Chriss.

Coach - I think it will be Altman because they were picked to finish 4th preseason. I'd be happy to be wrong. But it's a first place team that's NOT named Arizona.
POY - Poeltl 17/9 on a 24-7 team.
DPOY - Payton
Freshman - Jaylan Brown I guess...
Most Improved -no idea

Altman got it last year right? Maybe no two 'fers...Beavers finished about where we expected..so not sure Tinkle gets it (it should have been his last year). Ahh... Think you are correct. Then I'll go with Utah Coach K. Good call on Roscoe for most improved in the other post.

Most Improved: Roscoe Allen- Cal Doesn't Allen play for Stanford, or am I thinking of someone else. If it's the 'furd guy I'm thinking of, he definitely would deserve that award. Really had a nice year. In the first game against them in Corvallis, I kept thinking, "how can we let these big goofball beat us", but he was a load for everyone as the season progressed!

Hard to believe the original GP did not win multiple DPOY awards - did they give it out back then?
