Leadership at the foundation of Rueck's Beavers
Teams are made up of leaders. Some are vocal, some lead by example, and some are quiet leaders.
Oregon State WBB head coach Scott Rueck has a team filled with leaders. Rueck is entering his ninth year as head coach at Oregon State and the roster is the most versatile group he has coached thus far.
While some of Rueck’s players are less vocal than others, Maddie Washington and Janessa Thropay are two key vocal leaders for the Beavers. The two juniors will speak up during practice or on the court frequently.
