I was incorrect in the post below - 31 teams make the national meet, not 33. Here is an article with the projected 31. www.letsrun.com/news/2018/11/find-womens-teams-going-big-dance-project-2018-ncaa-xc-championships-field/From the west region (one of nine) they are projecting this result - 1. Oregon 2. Boise 3. Stanford 4. Washington 5. Portland 6. UCLA 7. Oregon State Also from the mountain region they are predicting New Mexico, Colorado, BYU, Southern Utah, Northern Arizona and Air Force. That totals 13 of the 31 teams from the two western regions. It also says what happens in the south central region is important for us. Texas is predicted to get an automatic berth, but if SMU beats them that is bad for us. Anyway, read the article.

So we really just need to wait until after tomorrow's meets to find out. Projected is just a guess, maybe educated sometimes not so much.
GO BEAVS, do well tomorrow and make a case for yourselves.

We have wins over Texas, UTEP and Utah which help us if these teams finish in the top two in their regions. In our sixth place finish in conference we were very close to the fourth and fifth place teams. If we have a great day and jump our conference foes, and the teams we have beaten do well, we can make it in. It will be close.

This site had 5 teams from the Western Regional: 1. Oregon 2. Boise State 3. Stanford 4. Washington 5. Portland And that is the order of finish in this morning's competition. Beavs finish 6th.
