I know it is just an exhibition game - OSU vs Montana Tech. But I never thought I would see my undergraduate NAIA Division II alma mater square off against my NCAA Div I, P5 conference graduate alma mater. Should be one of those crazy score games, like 102 - 35. Montana Tech is a predominant petroleum and mining engineering school located in Butte. Usually highly rated for STEM and one of those US News & World Report "bargain schools"..... When I was attending the school, I had the pleasure of taking a Beginning Basketball class from the head MBB coach, one Kelvin Sampson (of later Oklahoma, Indiana and WSU fame/shame). They named their basketball court after Kelvin when he gave them a big donation in his NBA Milwaukee assistant days. Another OSU - Montana Tech connection is that our old video board from Parker/Reser stadium is now their football field video board. I wonder if they incur the wrath of their fans by using screen real estate for ads :-) Go Beavers! (and since it is a non-counting game) Go Diggers!

As part of the sale/donation of the video board Tech wass required to take the..."Watch for the screen pass" graphic. Usage was set at minimum 4 times per quarter
