As reported earlier in this forum, Lindy's Sports has the Beavers ranked #10 in its preseason Top 25. Oregon leads five PAC-12 teams in the Top 25 at #2. Stanford is #7. UCLA at #22. Arizona State at #23. Lindy's preseason Top 25 is listed below. This is what Lindy's wrote in its one paragraph summary of OSU:
"The Beavers bring back four starters from an Elite Eight team that led the country with a 40.4% percentage from beyond the 3-point line. They lose first-round WBNA Draft pick Marie Gulich down low, but that blow should be softened by the addition of top-10 recruit and 6-9 Paraguay native Andrea Aquino. The Beavers also will get a boost from the addition of guard Destiny Slocum, who was the National Freshman of the Year (WBCA) in 2016-2017 at Maryland before transferring to Oregon State and sitting out last season."
1) Notre Dame 2) Oregon 3) UConn 4) Louisville 5) Baylor 6) Maryland 7) Stanford 8) Tennessee 9) Mississippi State 10) Oregon State 11) Texas 12) Missouri 13) DePaul 14) South Carolina 15) North Carolina State 16) Georgia 17) Iowa 18) South Florida 19) Marquette 20) Syracuse 21) Duke 22) UCLA 23) Arizona State 24) Texas A&M 25) Miami

This list looks legit for a pre-season ranking. I believe ASU will eventually be a top 15, maybe top 10 team by the end of the season (barring injury).

The Beavs will work their way thru a meat grinder schedule this season. From Lindy's Top 25 alone the Beavs are looking at up to 11 Top 25 match-ups.
A good season to have some depth - which we do.... A season where the Frosh Bigs will get thrown into intense competition against tough, tested top 25 Bigs...
I'm not adding anything new here when I say that Coach is headed into the season with 5 VERY good perimeter players. If the bigs mature and deliver, I think Coach is looking at his best team ever. Yes, ever. GO BEAVS !!
