I wonder if he expects to still get dividends/profits from stocks and other investment once he sold them? And, by the way... Can I change to RG or have a memorandum of understanding that he is GK?? Well you can still receive dividends even after selling a stock. People expect to do that quite often. All depends on the Ex-date. So your insinuation to the contrary is inaccurate. I'm sure you knew that. Only idiots would sell before the ex-dividend date. so I assumed not an idiot. But, some do... so me have no clue about the importance of such things. |

I think the point is that you can sell after the ex dividend date, but before the dividend is paid. Therefore, you would still get the dividend, but technically not own the stock when it is paid. |

So it's apparently not just a matter of it being any two universities - but that those two universities happen to be OSU and WSU, by implication, the two least-worthy universities out of the original Pac-12 to potentially benefit financially from the abandonment of the conference's future assets by the other 10. Do you think he'd have said, "..only two members - The University of California (Cal) and Leland Stanford Jr University (Stanford).."? Or, "..only two members - University of Oregon (UO) and University of Washington (UW).."? Somehow, I don't think so. |

This isn't like Riley or Erickson leaving for an NFL gig. This is leaving for a crappy big 10 team with unrealistic expectations, at the worst possible time.....as far as I'm concerned, he went from hero to zero overnight. |

He was a very accurate kicker, I'm sorry to see him bail, especially to Oregon.
That said, my ageing brain has a limited amount of storage space. So simply forgetting about him altogether will open up more space for something else to care about.
