I hope it is to play baseball - watching college qbs getting munched and beat up, he might have realized that baseball is a better future for him than fighting it out for what looks to be #2 or #3 string on the football squad next season. If he's leaving all together, then he's leaving. It is the nature of the game in 2018. Not how I grew up, but twas different times.

As some stated earlier in recruiting... JD was never a D1 QB prospect. He is a D1 baseball prospect. Behind the 8-ball for this season with the depth being shown so far this Fall. But, RS or go play for AP in Albany for a year and see what pans out... IF he is planning to even stay at OSU at all.
