Wichita State lost in their conference quarterfinals (to Northern Iowa - #87 RPI), so their season closes with a whimper.

Syracuse loses to Florida State. George Washington lost to Davidson. VCU loses to Davison. Alabama lost at Gerogia.
A lot of bubble teams didn't do what OSU did today, and that was make a case late.

Bubble team Syracuse (19-13, 9-9 Conf, RPI 61 before today's game) loses in the first round of ACC tourney this morning to Pitt. They were one of Lunardi's last 4 in as of this morning.

Lunardi has a rule (his own) that says a team must go at least .500 in league, including post-season tournament games. Somehow though, USC is a 10 seed in his bracket and well outside of the bubble, even though a first-round loss would subject them to this rule.
Correction: seeding for USC stated earlier was an old bracket

Potential tourney teams are supposed to be downgraded if they had a bad loss. So why is St. Mary's considered for a tourney spot if they lost to a team (Gonzaga) that had no chance of being in the tourney unless they won their tournament. Isn't that loss to Gonzaga a BAD loss?

Zagreb are talented... have not met expectations and that league is dowm. But, I sure would not want to play the Zagreb in round 1. St. Mary's is in.
