OSU Beavers ArticleLooking to join a growing list of dominant centers for Oregon State, Patricia Morris can't wait to get out on the court with the Beavers. The family atmosphere of the program stood out to Morris from the first time she met with the coaching staff during her junior year at Duarte High School in California. Once she got to campus to meet with the team it only bolstered her thoughts of becoming a Beaver. Meeting with her future teammates and watching them go on to the Elite Eight gave Morris a lot of confidence that the Beavers will once again be a force to be reckoned with in the Pac-12. "When I first met with the coaches I loved how family oriented they were. Being away from home it's nice to come in and instantly feel like I had a second family here," Morris said. "I really like where this program is headed, I think we've got a lot of talented players on the team and we are all going to be able to contribute to win games.

I really hope that Jeff Macy has been successful in building her (and Andrea's) strength and adding muscle weight. That is going to be the key thing for them, they will need to survive and thrive in the physical low post position. AA may get some minutes at the 4 but this year we will need her more at the 5.
I anticipate that PM is going to have a steep learning curve and she will be up to the task.
