Tudor played with pain in her right (shooting) hand for most of last season.
The report below notes that she should be ready to practice with the team by October.
Corosdale's time table of four months post-shoulder surgery should have her returning to practicing with the team during September.

We have been very lucky dodging the "injury bullet" these last couple of seasons for the most part (more on that in a minute). It is a bit concerning that we have Taya recovering from shoulder surgery and Kat from a hand injury, not to speak of Aleah in a boot earlier this summer and Janessa landing in a boot every season at some point..... What seems fortuitous is the timing - we had these players (Taya/Kat) play through their injuries, and they seem to be getting the issues addressed at the right time if there is such a thing. So far, when we do have an injury during the season, it is usually impactful. I think that is a testimony to the tight team concept that develops in our SR-coached teams, but it also speaks to how there has still been a drop off after the starter at various positions. For example, our Pac-12 tourney fate when KTMac couldn't play or our one L at UW when Gabby couldn't play. It also underscores how valuable KTMac has been for us when she stepped in for Syd and we went 6-1 (and almost beat ND in our 1 loss in that stretch) in a counter to my drop-off observation. I believe we are getting closer to having "no drop off" talent at all the positions, but we still need to keep dodging that bullet, especially since SR doesn't seem interested in carrying a full scholarship limit of players (and in fact I would posit that he is getting more exclusive as time goes on in terms of casting his net for talent). Kat near tripled her output year over year, and is on a All-Pac 12 sort of trajectory, so this is obviously a critical player and recovery process for us.
Speedy recovery Kat! Go Beavers!

I noticed in an early season game that she was favoring her right hand. If that was when the injury occurred then she really did play injured most of the season. It really affected her for a few games and she appeared to adjust to it over time.

Good grief, just realized that 8 weeks puts us almost to the start of fall camp for basketball - dayam time is flying by! Go Beavs! It's football season and already Beaver nation is looking ahead to basketball. Ah yes, I remember those times well.......again! Football seasons in recent years have helped allow me to focus more on work into November and pay penance for increased interest in (WBB) March Madness and CWS and what not........so there is my putting a happy face on an otherwise grim situation. Go Beavers! Start distracting me in September and October!
