$315 for a 3 day park hopper... It would be over $1200 just to get my family of 4 in the park. Ugh, and we are thinking about going for Christmas... Six Flags Magic Mountain > Disneyland Up to a point. The last time that I went to Magic Mountain, several of the rides had a 6' 3" maximum height requirement, and I can't ride those. Several of the other rides without maximum height requirements were patently not built for someone as tall as I am. For shorter guys and gals, I can see the draw. However, since I can't ride all of the rides and don't get a discount, I stick to Disneyland.

Six Flags Magic Mountain > Disneyland For older kids maybe... but DL far better for the 12 and under crowd. One of my favorite/oddball business trip excursions was to Anaheim. Got done early, blew off a boring work dinner & called up my brother who lived in LA, told me to meet him at Disney. We probably acted like we were 12, so we had a great time. Next night I caught Red Sox vs Angels, got to see Wakefield which is always entertaining, or I should say - watching a catcher catch a knuckler is entertaining.

Several of the other rides without maximum height requirements were patently not built for someone as tall as I am. For shorter guys and gals, I can see the draw. However, since I can't ride all of the rides and don't get a discount, I stick to Disneyland. Exactly two rides (that an adult would ride) had a maximum height (at Six Flags Magic Mountain).
One of those two has been closed indefinitely (and probably for good), since 2017. So, 18 roller coasters at Magic Mountain vs. like 4 at Disneyland. Tough call.
You wouldn't be able to ride "all the rides" (in one day) anywhere you went, regardless, (especially most days between March and October), without purchasing some sort of additional "fast/flash pass."
Do they have some sort of tall guy discount at Disneyland? A season pass at Magic Mountain costs less than 2 days full admission price (currently $94.99 for the remainder of 2018 and $149.99 annually, normally). It's also good at any other Six Flags theme park (in the USA).
You don't get it. If Wilky can go to Pepe Le Pew's Tea Party.....he ain't going!
Also....move it to the amusement park board!

We're just trying to keep this good championship feeling going through an otherwise slow summer. Q: Kevin Abel, you just threw a 2-hit complete game shutout in the CWS championship game. What will you do now? A1: I'm going to Disneyland! A2: I'm moping because I didn't sign a $500,000 contract out of high school so I could spend the summer in some dung-heap town being a nobody...

$250,000 at age 19 invested right is a large sum at age 67 What percentage of those kids actually invest that money for their future? I'm guessing too much of it goes into purchases that depreciate instead. A lot more are smart with their money than not. don’t let the low percentage of football and basketball players that arent’t, cloud your judgement on the thousands between baseball, football, basketball soccer or any other professional sports league that are wise with their funds.

Especially coming out of high school if they have good parental and coaching support, and a decent agent, most of that money is invested. After the kid buys a great car, of course, boys will be boys
