We played only 10 (counting) which is the the lowest in the conference - some teams played 13. If we had played 3 more patsy wins, our record would look a lot more impressive (although our SOS would be significantly lower as well). 20 wins would likely be well-worth the optics benefit over the SOS hit, as you often hear '20 win team' thrown around by the talking heads.
Anybody know if we have some teams back out, or related to the AD transition, etc?

You mean non-conference games. We played one preseason exhibition game against Western Oregon.

Oregon State had planned a November event in Corvallis in which the Beavers would have faced Valparaiso, Iona, UNC-Charlotte and another opponent. Late in the summer, UNC-Charlotte and the fourth school cancelled. “We got shorted two games,” Tinkle said. portlandtribune.com/pt/256-sports/kerry-eggers/295512-172919-beavers-dispose-of-cougars-face-crucial-road-tripEdit: After doing a bit of crosschecking, the supposed date that this event would have been scheduled, coincided with Charlotte playing in a tourney in Bahamas. I guess they chose to go to Bahamas instead of Corvegas
