I feel like if we just played smart we'd be up by 20 at the half. Reid is such a non-factor and Malcolm had just shrunk as the season has progressed. For some reason Stevie didn't have any mojo in that first 20 minutes.
I'm happy to be leading, but really want to see this lead doubled in a hurry out of the locker room. We really can't afford to let a team like this hang around, because with nothing to lose and nearing the end of their season, if they think there's a chance, they may get inspired.
My. biggest complaint with this zone is how easily people can get open looks from 3 with the least bit of ball movement. I know that we need to keep getting more athletic to play man D on a regular basis, but we need to force these guys to beat us with 2 point field goals!

Did you watch the same game I was at? It was defense that sprung our offence and shut down the cougs. They were in the game for the 1st 3 minutes then it was over.

Same game. Sloppy passes and poor defense allowed a weak Cougar team that have up a while ago to creep back within 10. I agree that the D and execution were better in the first part of the second half and then it was over. There were still a couple of guys who have played poorly most of the year and did it again, but it was a good team win.
I'm not interested in seeing our team get dumped in the first round of the PAC 12 tourney, or relegated to the NIT when they've earned a legit shot at the Big Dance. If they get lax and sloppy like they were for stretches yesterday when they're playing on the road, it will be all about lamenting "what could have been". They've worked too hard for that to happen!
