Obviously it's important the Beavs win this game, but aside from averting elimination in the CWS, it's important to beat the fuskies. Always. Send Meggs packing. Give them NO quarter.

So glad the huskies already threw Demers - that guy is a solid pitcher, although I would not be the least bit surprused to see big Joe Demers for an inning or two today.
We also need this win for the sake of future recruiting battles vs UW - in particular for WA talent

I hope BF is on. I would keep him on short leash if UW happens to figure him out and starts hitting the ball. They are a pretty good hitting club.

I think Coach Casey should be gracious to coach meggs and offer to buy him some BBQ. And then maybe kick him in the junk.

I know I'm stating the obvious, but I'd really like to throttle these guys early for selfish reasons: Like my mood, baseball induced ulcers, ability to concentrate on work.

BF is not the key, it is the defense. Give any team free outs by kicking the ball around, not making basic plays, and you will lose. 6 runs would have been more than enough to win that last game had it not been for the defense.

There is a lot of pride in their skills and performance - and they got their collective bell rung Saturday. I suspect they are going to be dialed in on the turf today.

Now would be a good time for Cadyn to bust his batting slump
