This guy is underrated, IMO. Visited Missouri last week after a late offer. Coach Tibs has been on him since Wisconsin.

Looks like he's got a mean streak. www.hudl.com/video/3/3771094/5a0c9dc442105a0bacf5883fI agree. He appears to be very aggressive. We certainly need that-our recent defensive lines have been a disaster.

Outstanding DLs (and OLs) will get us better much faster than a four-star receiver. We need DLs. It sux to lose Crocker, but we have other options at WR that will suffice for now.

The more quality DLs and OLs we get the better our team will be in the future. At the same time it will affect the rankings of the recruiting classes negatively. It is a fact that linemen are not as highly ranked recruits. It is mostly just due to numbers. Most schools need 5-6 OL in a class and 4-5 DL in a class. It much harder to find highly ranked OL and DL when compared to 3-4 WR needed per class.

James Newsom, Mike Hass, Sammie Stroughter, James Rodgers, Markus Wheaton and Brandin Cooks all nod in agreement. nobody there was over a 3*. Hass, famously, a walk on. James Rodgers a 2* at best, and the source of drama on the P-O.net board when an insider poster when out of his way to deride Riley for offering him, and spent better part of a year getting crow force-fed to him before disappearing. I hate to say it, but great WRs are a dime a dozen. Get a good coach in place and they can make stars from some pretty darn raw materials! But DTs... TRUE, beefy, every down NTs... war daddy tackles that are fast, agile and 300 pounds are not. those are unicorns. Those are always your "gets" and those are what championship teams are always build around. Beef on the lines.

Plus, Cooks was a 4* recruit according to Rivals and I believe Wheaton was a 4* also by at least one ranking service.
We also have Hodgins currently on the roster who is a 4*
Of course, we have had a couple of 4* WR's that didn't live up to the hype in Ruben Jackson and Deondre Alexander.
