Development of 2 and 3-star talent made the Riley era a success. The same must be true of the Smith era. We are never going to have a recruiting class loaded with 5- and 4-star talent.
Eyeing overlooked players with potential, and developing it, has to become standard operating procedure again. This is one of Riley's best attributes, which is why I'm thrilled he's on the staff.

Yes, I remember those other 3 Louisiana recruits back in the day - Keenan Lewis, Dennis Christopher, and Burnell "Mike" Wallace were lowly recruits who turned out to be solid football players. I'd settle for getting Dennis Christopher level production from these guys.

These are the type of kids that go to Memphis and CFLA and turn them into 10 game winners. Go get 'em!

I'd settle for getting Dennis Christopher level production from these guys. Dennis Christopher is the DC at these kids’ high school. Safe to say that having Riley on staff is a factor in their interest in OSU?
