I’m not an expert, but I love his film. One cut and go kind of guy. Hits that hole hard and doesn’t look back or try to put on too many jukes.

I’m not an expert, but I love his film. One cut and go kind of guy. Hits that hole hard and doesn’t look back or try to put on too many jukes. Thanks for link. If you just watch him run and nothing else in the video he doesn't look very fast, but then he's blowing past all the defenders.
I hate on these highlight reels when the first 5 or 6 HLs are the RB running untouched for a 70 yard TD. Says more about the blockers and scheme. I know the kids don't put them together, so wannabe editors, take note. Once you get past all the easy TD runs you get to what the kid can really do in traffic and breaking tackles.

Does this mean we pull the offer from Henry? Or do you think we need two?
My thinking is probably not. Unless this is a greyshirt offer if Henry signs on. Then I am for it.

There's a lot to like on his film. He's slippery, has deceiving strength, really sees the field, excellent body control/balance, good hands, and actually moves ball between arms to keep it hidden from defenders.
He's also a smart runner judging by the way he sets up blocks and gets defenders to commit before exploiting them. Looks to me like he has the ingredients that separate the true running backs from simple ball carriers.

It is good to break the dry spell. It was starting to get a little scary that we have been unable to get any commits for the second signing period. Many other schools had commits after already signing at 75% of their class. Now we can relax a little as we have 3 now.
2 of the commits, on paper, are the best in the class so far. This is very good news. The third is definitely under the radar, but is a big body that we need.

Being Twitterless, all that’s missing for me is his name. Unless of course it’s just Munchie, like McLovin or He Hate Me.

Being Twitterless, all that’s missing for me is his name. Unless of course it’s just Munchie, like McLovin or He Hate Me. I googled the kid: Senior season he had 1,861 rushing yards on 205 carries (9.1 Ypc). He scored 37 TDs, 34 of them rushing. Ran for over 4,000 yards in varsity career. Rated 46th RB (3 star) in Nation (#9 in California). Very solid numbers, and his size (5’11, 197) is even cut from the cloth of our tradition of quality diminutive runners. Even the 4.6 time in the 40 sounds familiar. SJ and Nall definitely broke the mold for that position at OSU. Was offered by Utah, the Colorado schools, and an assortment of other D1 programs all over. Looks like a good get.
