Within the last two minutes of the Denver/New England game Brady threw the ball just before being sacked. This happened three times and was never called for intentional grounding. On the first one I would agree with as there was an eligible (sp) receiver in the area. The last two times I didn't see a NE player nearby.
I know there are a handful of factors that goes into whether or not this situation is intentional grounding, so what am I missing?
I am in no way implying poor officiating, I just want to have a better understanding of the rules.
Thanks in advance.

If the qb is outside the tackle box and the ball is thrown past the line of scrimmage,it seems you're ok
