Interesting "goings on" for you folks with kids/grandkids/loved ones involved in Oregon high school athletics...OR...you are directly involved (coaching, etc.). Another realignment coming to a school near you...

Yeah that's going to make a lot of folks unhappy - the Bend area schools/Salem schools together, they tried that a few years back and it didn't go over very well. Hermiston playing Portland area schools. Not an easy solution for some communities...

Its a thankless task with no way to make everyone happy. Balancing travel with some level of competitive balance in a big state is a very tough assignment.
