Early leader for asinine post of 2024. Imagine the lack of awareness needed to post that on a women’s basketball board. I don't think we have to imagine... it's right here in B&W.

Well, a W is a W.
But, not beating any of the top 6 playing like we did tonight. Not sure if tonight's "game" wins at UW??
Very uninspired looking play for a few players.

First win in Pullman since January 27, 2019 and snaps a 5-game losing streak to WSU. A very balanced scoring attack and solid defense.

UW reminds me a bit of OSU last year. Lots of close losses resulted in a record that’s probably worse than they are. Three of their last four losses have been in OT and the other was a 2-point moss to Cal.

Nice win but they need Beers back ASAP. I do think winning without her makes the team all the more formidable overall and that could very well be a big help in the postseason.

Just no "go to" big time player since LW went down. UW has been in a ton of games. And, like you mentioned losing similar to OSU last year. UW has no big time scorer, but multiple ladies that can score in double digits.

Really nice box score for Lily tonight. 11pts, 4-4 shooting, 3-3 from 3, 4 rebounds, 3 assist, 1 turn over, in 27 minutes. I think we would take that every night.

Nice win but they need Beers back ASAP. I do think winning without her makes the team all the more formidable overall and that could very well be a big help in the postseason. That's a very valid point. The last 2 games without Raegan, the opposition has scored a total of 108 points. I am sure Scott is stressing to them that the defense works even without her. I think we would have scored about 78 against them with Beers, but 65 is OK. It's very important for the team to learn and to believe that they are quite capable of winning without their star, and that's happening. In an important game against a quality opponent over the next month or so, Raegan is going to get into foul trouble, and the team is going to have to dig deep to to win anyway. These last few games will have proved to them that they can do exactly that. I didn't see Raegan on the bench, so I'm assuming she won't be there Sunday either. One more opportunity to reinforce the lesson.

Can we get a breakdown on the calls and non-calls by female officials with different body types and then different hair colors? (sarcasm if you can't tell).

Much better rebounding last night. Although, I think that is more a testament to usc, and their athleticism, and aggressiveness.
Good to see we can win on the road without Beers.......but we will not get past big, physical, athletic teams, without her. Hopefully she's back vs u dub

WSU is a bubble team, at least per ESPN’s last projections.
I’m not sure why anyone is downplaying a comfortable road win over a very motivated and dangerous team. They did exactly what you’d hope for, fight through adversity and taking control of the game with really solid execution in Q4 where they looked like the clearly better team. Stanford just has the reverse happen to them at home..

I lost track of the post that asked "Where's Blacklock?" Good question. She is a bit of a dilemma for SR because she does have offensive fire power, but apparently struggles on the defensive end of the court. BUT, Rueck also has Lily H. as a first line sub, and she delivered an impressive game last night...And he also has Dom P. who is looking more and more like the real deal.
This is off topic, but I have been wondering for a few weeks now if we might lose Adlee to the portal. Shooters gotta shoot, and to do that they gotta have floor time. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Baylor, Texas Tech - or someone in that ball park - is floating overtures in her direction. GO BEAVS!!
