As always, I value the excellent opinions and knowledge of the astute Beaver fans on this site.
My question for today is what are our chances of winning against USC without Raegan?
My pessimistic self thinks not very likely.
I hope there are other viewpoints that will give me hope of victory!
Go Beavs.

Were we ahead when Reagan went down against UCLA? No, we came back in spite of the loss of Beers. As much as we have to figure out how to play without her, if need be, USC has to change their game plan as well. Looking at the results from Friday, I still like our odds.

USC’s post game isn’t as strong as UCLA’s. They have no one nearly as strong as Betts. It’s a different matchup for sure. Containing Watkins is job #1 and #2.

I wouldn't bet against this team.
My orange glasses don't allow me to see anything but a victory. If I recall correctly usc doesn't have a lot of height.

Post game would have been a big asset for us against the Trojans. I like our chances at home, but not nearly as much if we had Beers. It’s going to be an interesting challenge for us.

If juju guards timea and shuts her down we would have problems that becomes our key match up

It’ll take excellent defense and OSU to hit a lot of shots to pull this one out without Raegan.

If juju guards timea and shuts her down we would have problems that becomes our key match up If they get out and ahead we will have issues we need ro stay close until we get iur rythm. Refs could be a X FACTOR ALSO.

Tough call on this game. Mentally, I think these Beavs are ready to play. Even with no Rae, they know they control their own destiny. USC's rebounding comes from Marshal and Watkins. They crash the O boards well, but overall their only an average rebounding team. If the Beavs are ready to block out, they should be ok.
I have no idea who will win this game. With Raegan, I felt the Beavs would win every game down the stretch. I'm not sure it's fair to say that without Raegan. You can get by a while without your top talent, but that doesn't last forever. It's one game at a time right now. Keep hitting the three and the Beavs will be tough to beat. Have a dry spell, and it may be a long day.
I think Padilla may be the key to the game. Stop her from hitting the 3's and the Beavs chances increase.
Interesting to note, I listened to coach Close's half time comments against the Beavs. First thing she said was the they had to stop the Beavs from shooting 3's. Beavs went on to hit 5 out of 6 3pt shots in the 3rd quarter. I guess her players didn't take that message seriously.....and a 3pt shot in the end cost them the game.

If Beers plays, our chances are great. Without her, just good. Being home is HUGE! I can’t attend or watch today. Probably just as well. Being busy will HELP, but every time I think of it, the butterflies will ATTACK my gut. Little bastards.

Blacklock is the spark so far this game. Now let's start hitting those 3s!
