The Pitcher/ First base man from Henley high school who was committed to the Beavers, will not be a part of OSU's 2020 recruiting class.
He will be a duck instead.
That will reduce our class to 15 new players which puts us at 44-45 players on the fall roster as it now stands.

Rasica was not part of the announced signing class on the official OSU site, or on the official list with bios published in the Oregonian and on several baseball websites. Only Rawlings-Perfect Game had him as part of the class.
That would lead you to believe Heith was a walk-on candidate. It's possible that was the case until oregon came along and offered him some scholarship money.
The "no room at the Inn" theory: Prior to the draft, Oregon State was adding 9 new pitchers to the staff. Abel, Thorsteinson, Giblin, Hunter, Lawson, Hogan, Salgado, Watkins, and possibly Townsend. Rasica would have been the 10th pitcher in the 2020 class.
Technically, Abel is still a member of the class - nothing has been announced about a signing by the Phillies.
