What the hell Beavers? The one day I do play-by-play, you lay an ostrich egg, and the two I don't you make outstanding pitching performances. Stop making me look bad. Looking at the out of town scores, every Pac-12 team has a win, except one. If you're wonder which one is still winless, their logo displays their win total so far. Well, obviously, we can consider it a fluke. If it happens again, you are on the watch list and then........😁 Thanks a lot for doing it. It makes the games better.

I like Jon. I like his faults. It can be bewildering and frustrating, but he’s got a down home feel to his broadcasts that sort of suits the early season. He’s not polished. that’s the charm. Would I want him all season? No way. But for the first few weeks, it’s quaint. Quaint is a polite description. I can live with it early, but I wish he could help me get to know the newcomers better. Tell us some stories, some coaches analysis, Yes! First games of the year and all, that should be a priority. But he struggles even with the returners.

That outfied of Casey, McDowell, and McMahon are fast. Kyler tracked one down in RF that made him look like Usain. Yeah I’m hoping Jake will bounce back but I just don’t think he’s geared for the longer role of a starter. His forte has always been the closer and he has excelled at it.....why mess with his role. Hope I’m proved wrong. Pfennig and Cooper were a great duo today that bodes well. Great bounce back win .... I'm a bit concerned with Mully. He struggled more last year, too, so seeing signs of his struggle again this year so early makes me wonder if something is wrong. Hope it's nothing big and he can return to form soon.

I still don't buy that he's more than a three-inning guy. His fast ball does not look considerably better than last year, which is something that I was looking for. He looked good for the first three innings, a good first 40-45 pitches. After that, he looked gassed. Lund bunting looked like it caught him completely by surprise, which it should not of. He looks unused to being a starter. He is so good at coming in after hard-throwing righties that I cannot believe that he would not be continued to be used in that manner.

My observation was that between the plate discipline by Gonzaga and the way the strike zone was being called, Mully was forced to leave the ball up....which is something that is not usually going to turn out good for him, or the team.
