Very seriously considering making a trip down for the series in late March. Coincides with Spring Break & A's home opener and have family close. Looked at Cal site and can get $15 GA padded seats behind home plate!
Love going to football games at Cal but those are on Saturday, never been to a weekday event.
Not an A's fan necessarily but attending Opening Day is up there on the sports bucket list. Might even try to be in town early enough to see the last spring training exhibition game between A's/Giants at PGE (or whatever its called now).
Happy to hear any input anyone who's made this trip would have.

It's a dump, but located right on campus, next to Haas Pavilion. Many Portland-area high schools (Rex Putnam, for example) have nicer stadiums.
Parking can be a pain. Get a room at the Hotel Durant, and then walk, it's only about six blocks.

Worst facility in the conference. Hard to get to, no place to park and no vistor dugout seating for fans. Weather two years ago was ugly as well....wait I think we swept them??
It was a great trip, I highly recommend it!

Been several times... best to just stand and watch from 3B walkway next to Haas!
Comments here are accurate... decently kept, but facility is HS level.
Weekday parking is far worse than football Saturdays. Businesses and schools are open, many sell parking on Saturday. BART unloads two- three blocks from campus, field is on that low side of campus. Plenty of hotels that offer access to both via BART. Fly into OAK and BART can get you to hotel areas too... no need to rental car/park!

Maybe it's just the dulcet tones of Mike Parker but he's always made it sound like a great place to catch a game! Thanks for all the input. Since we have family really close and I want to get the kids to SF to hit the touristy spots we'll tie in Beavs baseball if we get down there. But maybe one game not a whole weekend worth.

You can park at the North Berkeley Bart Station and take Bart to the Downtown Berkeley station, which is just a few blocks from the field
