In 69 days, Oregon State will open the 2020 season under the sunny skies and frigid temperatures of the Arizona desert in February. The Beavers open on Friday, February 14 against the Lobos of New Mexico. Based on his development during the 2019 season and performance throughout fall practice, I think it is a foregone conclusion we will see Christian Chamberlain on the bump in the opener. Right now, I see him as our Friday night guy.
When Saturday and Sunday roll around, it isn't as clearly defined who will get the ball for Oregon State in the back-2-back games against Gonzaga. Lots of candidates but nothing cut in stone at this point. I'm soliciting opinions - I know we have some pitching coaches that post on this board. Who is our Saturday pitcher, Sunday pitcher and mid-week guy that might face BYU on Monday?
Let's hear some opinions.

I would say Chamberlain on Friday, Burns on Saturday, Verberg on Sunday and Mulholland, Mundt, Walling Washburn, Frisch, Hjerpe and Pfenning in relief.
