Bearcats ruin the 'Ruins. Rainbows thump the Mildcats. (Beavs beware). Saints giving the Utes everything they want until utes just get a pick six and screws up the XP.

Miss Steak would be a nice award in Texas. Mistakes not so much...LOL! These opening games are showing that pooch screwing is alive and well for both winners and losers. Even the #1 team (Clemson) had their Heisman favorite QB throw a pair of picks.
Looking forward to seeing our veteran QB make fewer bad plays than Oklahoma State's.

And......I hope Sitake gets fired after the game tonight. Arrogant jerk ! He won't, but please explain. Utes won't win the division as predicted if they can't throw the ball. And they can't. 13-16 for only 106 yards? Um...no.

Utes will be a handful for anyone. Anae is a beast. Visited osu and Is part of that Kahuku program. He would have been a program changer for our defense.

Meh. I don't think you can judge the Pac on just a couple of games. Cincinnati is a quality opponent, and UCLA is still in rebuild mode. Hawaii's win over Arizona isn't much to judge the conference on either since it was just Arizona and the first week of the season. No biggie.

Hawaii's win over Arizona isn't much to judge the conference on either since it was just Arizona and the first week of the season. No biggie. If we're worried about the perception of the Pac-12, which is important for when the day comes again that the Beavers are trying to move up the national rankings, then the good news and bad news is that the only thing that really matters is the performance of the ranked teams. Very few people outside the west really even noticed that Hawaii beat Arizona. Nobody outside Southern California is really upset that Cincinnati beat UCLA. Nobody anywhere cares that ASU beat Kent State. I'm not sure that even a Beaver win over OkSt would really do much for the Pac-12, since the narrative in such case would probably be more about the failing of OkSt and the future of Gundy's job.
What matters is that Utah beat BYU and the final score is not close. That's the only ranked Pac-12 team to have played so far. UW/EWU will only be news if UW somehow loses. Stanford can get a little notice at least by taking care of Northwestern. WSU is barely in the rankings so won't get much notice either way but really needs to beat NMSU and at least not drop in the rankings. I don't even want to think about the duck/Auburn game. There may be some benefit to the conference with a duck win but I do not want to even go there.
I don't know if we really know yet if the conference sucks or not. Time will tell.

Score watchers in the east and midwest will take note of Utah, UW and UO scores for sure. I think WSU profile is a bit higher on the national level than it was 6 years ago. I think more than a few folks will look at that score as well. Oregon State can beat Ok State. The headline in the Oregonian will be something like "Beavers beat Cowboys". The headline in Stillwater will be "Cowboys fall short".
