[br Underpants recruited a lot of kids that are key to this year's success. Get over the hatred and move on. Riley quit 3 times Names please. He had to recruit someone who is still here. He lost more quality players than he brought in. Net loss. I'm not over the hatred of andercrud and never will be, but you can see the names right off the two deep that's been released, and there's more that are injured right now: QB Luton (who might be better than McMaryion, after all) RB Pierce (excellent RB and a high character guy), Baylor (starter on some teams) WR Hodgins (our best WR and probably bound for post-season awards), Bradford (2nd best WR), Flemmings, Taylor (Irish? I thought he's a Smith guy) TE Togiai, Smalls (who helped us retain a lot of dudes when Smith came in) OL Lavaka (our best OL, for my money), Clarke, Cordasco, Kebounnam DL Hodgins, Aydon, LB Rashed, Smith, Hughes-Murray, Taumoelau, S Morris, Moore CB Dunn, DB Grant, Manning Jr. That's a lot of guys expected to be heavy contributors, esp. on offense. No doubt, you can see HUGE areas where anderyuck left us hanging...but he definitely got guys who can and MUST contribute in a big way to lead us to the promised land of a 4-8 season or better. If we lose either of andersuck's DL recruits on the two deep then we are probably sunk again on D. Weren't any of you a little bummed to hear that Hughes-Murray went down? Are you hoping--praying???-- that Morris is well on his way to 100%? Same with Moore?

I miss the days of getting a full depth chart. I need to know who the 7th string running back is.

Then he was repeatedly shafted.... Then Luton came in and they did spring and part of fall practice together.... then 3M left. 3M was shafted all along, good passing QB with enough mobility to run most systems.

Hmmm... without looking I'm not sure they were ever on a "game" roster together. That play happened at home in 2015 before Luton was here. QBs were 3M, Garretson, Moran, Blount. The ROYAL screw job was just that... those other three QBs were terrible!! 3M left in summer of 2017, played at Fresneck. Luton started the first 4 games of 2017 before being injured at WSU.

He could see the writing on the wall and left for Fresno State. The shaft occurred in the spring and fall which caused 3m to leave.
I was happy to see him go...for him, not for us. He had a nice career at Fresno State.

Edited above... the "interception" vs Weber St was actually in 2015... and the QB crew is 2016 was terrible. 3M should have been the obvious starter as the 2016 season closed, but DG and CB were #1/2 the whole season. As that season wore on 3M was shafted and only got on the field due injuries. Zona... W... 16/19... 5 TDs... sacked once ucks... W... 13/20... 1 TD... sacked once Had a 59% comp %, 10 TDs/5 INTs, 136 rating in his limited/sporadic time in 2016. Luton came in as a GAG recruit with no D1 experience, yet was #1 almost immediately, 3M was listed as #3 by Fall camp. He did indeed see the "screw job" coming again. I had posted early in Summer of 2017 he was considering leaving. So happy he did, and for his great performance for a much better coach... over 6400 yds, 39 TDs, 10 INTs, 145 rating in 2 seasons.

Jmho and I know squat, but 3M must have let the coaches know prior to the Bend scrimmage in 2017 that he was going to transfer. During that scrimmage, he was trotted out there as the number 2 guy, but he wasn't treated as number 2. All the other QBS were given some snaps with the better O-line guys, backs and WRs. 3M was throwing to guys I had and still haven't ever seen again with O-line guys who were really 3rd team. And Marcus looked better than the other guys even with the dropped passes and jailbreak rushing. Still, it matters for squat and is ancient history. Niner has the Beavers improving, and Luton is the guy. Screw that POS who is coaching at another school.

Pretty sure Anderpants just flat out gave the starting job to Luton early in camp. I remember writing a post at the time saying, Coach A "BETTER be right" cause he just painted himself into a corner.

And got screwed. Really doesn’t matter when he decided to leave, nor what GA coaches did or did not do. The kid rocked at Fresno, with some coaches that really DID have big boy pants. And I HATE Fresno.... Everything is what it is. Marcus deserved better at OSU in end. His departure was forced. He didn’t ask to leave until Gary Big Pants told him to. He was told he wouldn’t start. No way, no how Prior. What was he to do ?
