I will always remember the one and only time I ever saw him play in person . Was at Reser . He and Toby Gearhardt were stoppable that day which surprised me but the Beavs built a 30 point lead before Harbaugh got the Card on track and overcame the deficit but OSU hung on for a very close win . Its been a few years so my memory may be faulty . Personally , as often as Luck was injured it may have taken a toll on his body and his life was filled with physical pain 24/7 and or , he was hearing footsteps behind him on the field constantly . I see him as a tv anaylist soon . Not classy treatment by Colts fans after game

Not classy treatment by Colts fans after game Agreed, I hope that represents a minority of Colts fans. Luck is a smart dude and it's not difficult to see him step into an analyst role at some point. He'll just need to stay away from the neck beard if he's going to be on TV for any length of time.

If he truly has no love or enjoyment left for the game as he states, why on earth do you think he would be remotely interested in doing that?

They get a different perspective after awhile. Happens all the time. I'm not saying it's inevitable, it's just not unreasonable.

After he got to keep all of his $28 Mil +/- signing bonus I’m betting no.

Saw him versus osu at Stanford Stadium in his last college home game. Osu was outmatched. Stanford scored at will, and Luck was like a machine.
My takeaway from that game...Stanford was 10-1 and in the top five in the country, and there were 8,000 plus empty seats in Luck's final home game. Osu wasn't that good back then, but it seemed like a better turnout was warranted.

Because he won’t be getting hit.... ! pay isn’t bad either. having said that. Andrews a very smart man. Stanford degree and all. Can pretty much do anything he wants.... including staying home, loving kids and family. He can afford it.

He can afford it. ”pay isn’t bad either.” He just walked away with a $28 mil signing bonus in addition to all he has made. Pay has nothing to do with it. Your second paragraph emphasizes my point. He doesn’t love football anymore. He wants to do things he can’t do now. All the things you mention. Not covering football games that he lost interest in.

Irsay gave him all the signing and roster bonuses he would have been due if he had not retired... $28.4 mil I think. Nice gesture with hope it keeps him in the fold if he changes his mind down the road.
