Not great. I like Kelly a lot, but that's a lot of minutes we now need to replace.

He was wearing a boot during the middle part of football season. Do not remember which foot each time he was passing our seats. That is too bad...

That is just the luck! Washington seems to move a little better than Wilson. I wonder about Wilson's conditioning. Anyway they both need to put on their bbp.

Wilson is a big body that should be able to provide a physical presence for 5-10 min/game.

The difference between 4 and 6 weeks is the difference between getting 1 final ooc game to ease back in to play or missing the opener against the scumsuckers and coming back for the LA schools at Gill. Kind of a big deal but the important thing is get him back 100%

Kelley is in his fourth year out of HS. He played one year at a small college his freshman year, took a medical red-shirt his sophomore year, transferred and played one year at a community college as a red-shirt sophomore, and is now playing for us. He is 21 years old. Here is is bio.

That sucks. I think Wilson can give 5-7 minutes, but match ups with him are going to be critical. He hasn't played much, but my initial thoughts on seeing him is he isn't real mobile. So against smaller, quicker post men he could have trouble. With Kelley I worry about foul trouble limiting his minutes. Williams should be able to up his minutes some. A real key will be Hollins. He has to start avoiding foul trouble. If he can do that I think we'll be OK.

So... can we all agree ahead of time that: - in rereading no one here had mentioned Big G as being the important cog to have a big season. Mostly hoping he was improved and could give us modest production; - that if WT has indeed recruited adequately that the (3) bigs that arrived with a bit of fanfare should be able to allow this team success as OSU was never using Big G as a go to
Hence, this injury is not in anyway an excuse for an underachieving season?

He's not a make-or-break a season player. Acknowledged. But he was a helpful piece and his production, while modest, will be missed, and may impact a game or two.
It's not like losing Nick Madrigal for 25 games. More like losing Jack Anderson for 25 games. Not killer, but somewhere along the line his loss will impact a game or two.

Dang! That really sucks! Time for Washington to step up, maybe we will see a bit of Wally Pipping as well. I could see Washington flourishing offensively with a few more dedicated, non looking over teh shoulder, minutes. This will also be a good chance to try some small lineups. Especially against slower teams a lineup of Stevie, Ethan, Alfred, Tres and Kelley could really give folks fits. Heck for brief moments you could put Tres at the "5" (not really we would be playing an aggressive, trapping zone), and have ST, ET, Hollins, Zach and Tres all on the floor at the same time, run and gun style, that’s a bunch of athletic shooters all on the floor. I hope we see Wayne get creative and cause havoc and confusion for the other guys for at least a few minutes a games, and not just ride KK for 35 minutes a game... Also, baseba1111, I totally agree this is not Tres going down for the year with a broken wrist. No excuses for WT, NIT is still the floor, NCAA the goal, IMHO.

Wait... it's the 28th, have we agreed already this month?? I don't want some patronizing, quota filling agreement
