Playing way out of "control" in terms of being a team player today. He or Pops needs to figure out soon that "my three sons" are the key to this teams success. They are the constants. It's the other 6-8 that need to develop and contribute big time... Alas... we've seen this NOT play out before. Just seem to be no true leadership on this team... on the floor or the bench.

But we've also seen them turn up the intensity and start making shots in the second half against inferior teams. Doesn't fix the basic concept but if they get the win today considering the first half we just saw, i will be impressed with the response. Not putting money on it.

I'd hate to be a "big" on this team!! Numerous times with solid low post position only to be ignored and see contested drives, sometimes 1 on 2. The last being salvaged by the nice ZR tip in. The offense still looks like a completely unorganized cluster/NBA style... I am not sure what our offensive philosophy is, a couple of years into the Wayne Tinkle experiment. I guess that's OK, since I am also still discerning what our defensive approach is.........since none of the bigs share a last name with our coaching staff, passing in to them is apparently optional. Even poor ZR has flashed by the ball handler multiple times to no avail.... Sigh. Go Beavers!

"Turn up the intensity" indeed - to me the body language of the Beavers today seemed a little low on intensity, disinterested, .... not good. The only uptick in intensity came when he put the freshmen guards in.....I sure hope we can get the intensity ratcheted up in the second half. I am interested to see what coaching adjustments we make. Agree on the lack of leadership - don't see anyone gathering the players on the floor and exhorting them to.....well, exhorting them in general. I wouldn't be betting on the Beavers today from what I saw in the first half either. We should be able to beat Be^ch!!! Go Beavers!

LBSt is bad.... 4/20 the 2nd half... OSU 14/22.
Only taken 19 3's of the 60 shots... better. Especially since OSU is 5/20 from distance.
Spoke too soon... a couple ill advised 3's! And a bunch of Off boards given up... nothing's easy. Lead down to 2 at 4min media TO... 2 of our last 8... LBSt 5 of their last 11

Tied at 42 after Ethan Thompson 3 pointer ET leading scorer with 12. He has been solid today. Agree - ET has done well today. Were I the coach, however, I would ask that he *run* up the court with the ball, not slow walk (as he does, regardless of game situation). We would gain 3-5 seconds per offensive possession in scoring position, and force the opposing team to set their D more quickly, and play D for a little longer each possession. I am sure there is some basketball benefit to ETs approach, however, since his coach doesn't feel the need to remedy this. Go Beavers!

This is the worst interior defense I've ever seen.
