Drew just didn't like school. I don't think that is the case with Tres, but remember this is his 4th year due to the injury/redshirt. There are not a lot of D-1 players that stay for 5 years.
I would be thrilled if he stayed, but I'm not counting on it.
I am not sure how to answer / reesearch this question. But anecdotally I would assume that there are more 5th year seniors playing D1 basketball than one and dones... The vast majority just don't have a chance at bball post college, so they play as much college ball as is allowed... I am sure you are correct though, odds are probaby still higher he leaves. Selfishly I hope he stays. Go Beavs The factor is not that the vast majority don't have a chance at post college ball. The reason there are not a lot of 5th year seniors is that the redshirt is much more of a rarity in basketball. If you are decent, coaches are not going to redshirt you in BB. That leaves few 5th year seniors unless the player has had an injury that causes them to use a redshirt year.
