Do you guys do all the softball cheers at home games too constantly? I swore I was at the Women's college world series tonight....bizarre.

My knee, thanks for asking! I’ve had several surgeries and when the temp drops and humidity rises, wow! It hurts. Nothing you can do but thanks for your concern just the same!

Honestly curious! I've never been to a baseball game where that happens and been to other SEC games Beavs have played. Nothing hurts, there is a couple other threads on how we gifted you a win, this isn't it. Curious on the cheers.
Very defensive there though! Wow.

I came across wrong there, just messin with you. My old HScoach used to say that to us when he didn’t know what we said or what we meant. I wasn’t sure what you meant by softball cheers.
The Rick Flair “woooo” is something that started this year at the Auburn game and is pretty annoying. The hog call (woooo, pig sooie) is the traditional chant that you heard maybe 5 or 6 times during the game.

The "wooooo" thing was a little annoying, but not that bad. And I've heard the hog call, and I think that covers more all your sports.
More talking about the fans doing a lot of "OSU sucks" cheers and heckling the OFers constantly with cheers as a group and a handful of other "cheers" I couldn't catch.
Nothing over the top or anything, just constant and what we hear in Pac-12 softball games all game long but never in baseball games.

Arkansas fans certainly travel. We are vastly outnumbered at TD Ameritrade. But 20,000 people calling in the hogs is too much to take. I wonder if they do that at the edge of the trailer park they live in, so they have something to eat for dinner. After the game we were standing next to a police cruiser, waiting for our ride to pick us up. A Razorback fan said "It wasn't that bad tonight. You all didn't need to get arrested". Nice, real nice.

Classy. A bunch of fans traveling to support their team and having fun in the process. More power to them. If we brought 20K we'd be just as loud and proud.

NW Arkansas including Fayetteville is only 6 hours from Omaha! Of course they will travel well. Imagine if Corvallis was 6 hours from Omaha! Clear advantage to them for that, but I do not think it matters much. I like our chances to force Game 3. Go Beavs!

EugenDave, You are a petty individual! Rockhouding in eastern Oregon, I've met plenty "country folk", but way to go insulting through stereotypes because your team had a bad day... Quality!

Yep. and like I said, good for them and if they are loud and rowdy and do some annoying chants, so be it. Suck it up buttercup. (not you, but the whiners). Tonight is same as last night: throw strikes, hit the ball, make some plays and they'll be pretty quiet.

We do heckle the LF a lot at home games and say that kind of stuff though. The Mississippi State LF flipped the Hog Pen (outfield section) off after a game a few years ago, it was funny. Really got into his head.

For the second game with Mississippi State, the crowd was a sea of red. Very loud, too, especially at the beginning of the game. But the Beavs quieted the crowd and nothing was heard but chants of O-S-U.
If the Beavs play the game that they are capable of, the hog callers won’t have much to do.

I liked the outcome of game 1, but didn't find it enjoyable to watch. OSU is a much better team than they showed yesterday and I expect we'll see a much different game today. It would help if the strike-zone tighten up a bit, it's hard to have much offense if low and 6 inches off the plate is a strike (at least it was the same for both teams). Good luck today and WPS!
